Artist's statement:

I have always enjoyed looking at the world through a viewfinder or ground glass and seeing how things around us take on new meaning when seen through the arbitrary frame of a camera and lens. My work consists of documenting subjects that raise questions about how, when, and why they came to be. I document places that appear to be forgotten, places and things that are stuck in the past and exist outside of the mainstream. These subjects are artifacts from a different place in time which, when examined closely, lead to a deeper perception of things as they are now.
